Veterans Aid Hostel Planning Permission

We have had confirmation from Tower Hamlets that the refurbished Veterans Aid Hostel has been approved planning permission.

The existing building is being completely refurbished and extended from 1166sqm to 1745sqm, and is being over-clad with a new terracotta cladding system designed to allow for the building to be occupied whilst full refurbishment and replacement of the services, windows and thermal performance is carried out. As well as upgrading all the current facilities, the project will give Veterans Aid an extra 12 bedrooms plus training, therapy and meeting spaces and crucially will also help to reduce the building running costs per resident.
