The proposal is the addition of a roof pavilion to the existing planning application. This roof extension contains a bedroom with an en-suite, as well as an accessible terrace.
The scheme continues the language of brick facades addressing the street, forming the primary architectural element of the building. In a similar manner as the continuation of the brick facades, the proposed scheme takes queue from the existing slate mansard roofs as the secondary architectural element of the building. The proposal sees the slate of the existing buildings being reinterpreted using zinc.
