This scheme consists of 9 new residential units across a site fronted by a traditional terraced building and a smaller rear building. The rear building and the rear elevation of the front building form a cohesive architectural expression focused around a communal garden. The materiality softens and brings a sense of warmth to this urban oasis. The composition of windows and treatment of cladding celebrates the contrast of old and new maintaining the sensitivity to the traditional but acknowledging the new.
