We have recently finished refurbishing and extending a 2 bed Span House in Strawberry Hill, where the client had sought an architect to design an extension that would work seamlessly with the fabric of the existing house – building on Eric Lyons’ ethos that revolved around simple design and natural light. The project had a modest budget of less than £100K - requiring a close working relationship between client, contractor and architect – and the result was a project that was delivered on budget and delighted the clients, with an extension that slips very easily into the surrounding context.
