On a constricted narrow North facing site, we looked to create a new street with units that gave a sense of place for the people and families that live in them. Each unit has been designed to have its own character with access to green space. The units’ heights have also been maximised creating double height volumes while bearing in mind the context of the site, in that the roofline respects both the proximity to the street and the 4 storey town houses behind. Their Rights of Light and daylight have been carefully considered whilst seeking to allow sunlight to enter deep into both the ground and first floor of the buildings.
