Hampton Wick - On site

WP's first in-house new build development is on site.

Today the practice started on site building the basement of our first in-house new build development.  We’re constructing a small apartment building in Hampton Wick, south west London, on the plot of two formerly derelict retail units.  Clearly there is always a potential conflict between architects wanting to deliver every detail exactly as it was envisioned and the developers need to deliver margin – but we hope to strike the right balance and complete something which we’re proud of and which enables us to steadily build a solid development arm.
